I practiced yoga nidra (not Nidra yoga) in Paris for two years regularly and before that seven years of Taï chi chuan and three years of zazen (Zen meditation – Taïsen Deshimaru). I moved to Gard this year, by chance I met Cécile in September and decided to try her Nidra yoga class. It was a “revelation” and since then, I have been following the group classes at Sauve, the half-day or full-day workshops and I also take individual sessions with Cécile. I recognize her as a true teacher, that is to say as someone who delivers teaching through practice. With Cécile, it is a spiritual path (and not a religious one) and a traditional teaching (Kashmiri Shaivism) coming from a lineage and transmitted from master/teacher to disciple/student. I won’t say anything about the path, it is different for everyone and often touches on the unspeakable. This is my testimony based on my experience and feelings.

Cécile knows how to “feel” people and adapts her practice of Nidrâ Yoga accordingly. Even in a remote session, the energy circulates and it is very refreshing. The practice is very accessible to everyone, even novices like me. I recommend you give it a try!

I take the class on Monday evenings at Sauve and at the same time I also take about one individual session per month of nidra yoga. These sessions focus on my personal issues and Cécile adapts the content each time. It is focused, efficient and energetically powerful work. I really like the yurt in which the sessions take place and Cécile gives personalized directions and practices for daily practice. It is also possible to contact her in case of questions or doubts…I am amazed at the progress made in two months of courses and three individual sessions and I observe the benefits in terms of sleep, dream recall, action on the nervous system (stabilization of moods, more calm), opening of interior space and breathing. I recommend the experience, really, and I thank Cécile for the quality and effectiveness of her teaching.

My experience of Nidrâ Yoga is recent but positive. I am experiencing better quality sleep and remembering some dreams, which is unusual for me. Without being able to really name it, I feel the beginnings of a change. It’s slowly settling in… Thanks to Cécile for the quality of her presence and her teaching.
